We recently took a roadtrip to Colorado. On the way home, the kids fell asleep at night and my husband and I decided to drive as long as we could stay awake since they were peacefully sleeping. About 2 AM, I heard from the back seat, "Mommy?" I said, "yes?" Joey held up the corner of his blanket and said, "Not working." He always puts the corner of his favorite blankie in his ear and then goes to sleep. Strange.... I know. We got to the hotel a half hour later. My husband laid him in the pack and play and handed him his blankie and asked, "is it working now?" He replied, very satisfied, "yes!"
